Description
Description | During 2007-2013 the EEN Slovenia consortium effectively conduced its EEN related tasks and obtained impressive results. In the 2015-2020 perspective we will adapt the content of work in accordance with the COS-WP2014-2-1 objectives and add new tailored features regarding to country and consortium specifics in order to maximize the outcome of our activities for the final beneficiaries, the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). Our consortium consists of 7 partners, offering services over the whole territory of Slovenia (20.256 km2, 2 million inhabitants, NUTS1 region): Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI - co-ordinator) and partners: Research and Art Zone at the University of Maribor (RAZ:UM), Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS), Chamber of Craft of Slovenia (CCS), Maribor Development Agency (MDA), University of Primorska (UP), Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for the promotion of Entrepreneurship, Internationalization, Investment and Technology (SPIRIT). The consortium has access to almost 100 % of Slovenian SMEs and researchers, and through SPIRIT Slovenia - the umbrella national agency – additionally embeds the EU dimension of the Enterprise Europe Network whole-nationally. With two thirds of Slovenia's trade oriented to other EU members (mainly DE, AT, I, FR), but stagnating GDP (a slow recovery after the 2009 and 2012 drops), particular focus will be on further approaching the European Union in exploiting of internal market and on internationalization of trade beyond EU borders. The consortium will serve as the capable and reliable national partner contributing to the competitiveness and innovative capacity of Slovenian SME's, offering its clients integrated, professional, focused and proximate services through further implementing the “No wrong door” concept in support of business and innovation. |
