Description
Description | We (Effervescence Fiction) are honored to present our series project DELETE / IGNORE with our Irish co-producers Ripple World (beneficiaries) for the MEDIA European Co-Development call. DELETE / IGNORE is a psychological thriller, a disturbing and fascinating dive into the secret world of content moderators in the Big Tech companies of American social networks, a world never before explored on television. The action of our series (12x30') takes place mainly in Dublin where these big companies have their European headquarters. The heroine is a young Frenchwoman surrounded by French and European people from various backgrounds. The grant would therefore finance the following creative developments: writing of new versions of the scripts by our French scriptwriters and the Irish co-writer; artistic collaboration of the director in writing the scripts; consultations with experts in social networking and Artificial Intelligence; translations into English. It will also be used for pre-production: location scouting in Ireland, casting in Ireland, France and other countries; budget studies in France and Ireland, study of the project's VFX specificities, etc. Finally, the grant will also finance the search for financial partners: presence at markets (MIPCOM, Content London, Festival de la Rochelle, Series Mania, etc.) meetings with potential European partners (public funds, distributors, broadcasters, platforms, etc.); development of communication and marketing elements for the series with the international market as a horizon. We hope that this grant will enable us to fully develop this project so that it can reach a European and international audience. |
