The general objective is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness in the country's construction sector through the training of management and technical personnel and of workers in the infrastructure building industry. The specific objective is to improve the quality of the sector's output through the transfer of technologies adapted to the country's features, in terms of types of constructions, materials and workers'culture. The project's activities include: (i) practical and on-the-job training courses for management personnel on the new techniques and technologies for construction enterprises; (ii) practical and on-the-job training for employees and workers in the use of new building technologies, and in job safety and efficiency issues; y (iii) training of instructors.
