Description	The Eglinton Crosstown LRT is a nearly 19-kilometre east-west light rail transit line in Toronto, Ontario. Construction began in 2011 with an initial scheduled opening in 2020. The project has faced delays, lawsuits, the COVID-19 pandemic, and safety issues. As of December 2025, the revenue service demonstration, a key 30-day test, has been completed, and the project is moving toward substantial completion and transfer to the TTC. There is a possibility the line could open before 2026.
