Egypt - Damietta Power Project

The Damietta Power Project is designed to meet the growing electricity needs in Egypt. It provides for the construction of a combined cycle power plant, fueled with natural gas and /or fuel with a capacity of 600 MW and the installation of lines necessary for the transmission of electricity, for connection to the national grid , the construction of a gas pipeline from the Abu Madi gas field and related consultancy services. The main components of the project are as follows : A) Gas turbine generators; B) Civil works (phase I); C) Swithyard; D) Heat recovery boilers; E) Steam turbine generators; F) Civil works (phase II); G) General mechanical/ electrical works; H) Transmission lines; I) Gas pipeline; and J) consultancy services.
