Egypt - Power Project phase I

The major part of the project consists of intalling new power plant for the city of port Said. The plant will be equipped with two gas turbines each of a maximum rating of 23.45 MW. Each turbine will be delivered with its generator, transformer as well as complete set of accessoiries. The manufacturer will be asked to erect each set on a base plate and with the necessary encasement in such a way that the only civil works to be done in Port Said will be the building of the foundation for the placement of the units. In addition, a small building has to be constructed for equipment control and for the switching panel which will connect the new units with the existing 11 KV distribution network in the city.
