Egypt - Update of Actuarial Study for National Social Health Insurance

The present project is an update of actuarial modelling study for the implementation and roll out of the national social health insurance system, within the health sector reform initiative. It’s includes two components. The first one is an update of the 2008/10 actuarial modelling and fiscal space study for the implementation of the Social Health Insurance Law. This update will integrate a new set of updated data related to government budget and commitments, demographic updates, national health account updates, labor and socio-economic updates, and assumptions. The second component focuses on Hands-on coaching and training on actuarial modelling to at least five (05) staff members from the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Health working on the Health Reform Program.
