Description
Description | Prepare the setup of a National Contact Point BE NCPeH for implementing Patient Summary of Belgian citizens abroad in the EU. Belgium faces the challenge of integrating the national health ecosystem with the MyHealth@EU framework. The objective of this project is to support the expansion of MyHealth@EU by performing preparatory work to enable patients to access MyHealth@EU services in a crossborder context. The project aims to address the challenge of securely and effectively integrating Belgium's advanced eHealth ecosystem into the EU-wide MyHealth@EU Digital Service Infrastructure, enabling the cross-border exchange of medical data. Therefore there must be conducted a sound prerequisite analysis, identifying key issues, gaps and risks. This Work Plan for EHDSi Architecture Verification and NCPeH Preparation outlines the major work packages and tasks necessary to ensure Belgium’s integration into the MyHealth@EU framework. The critical success factor, i.e. the availability and readiness of European central services, is included as a dependency for latter work packages. The proposed work plan is structured to ensure Belgium’s alignment with EHDSi while maintaining the robustness of its national eHealth ecosystem. Each work package groups logically related deliverables to address specific objectives. |
