This profile envisages the establishment of a plant to produce leather garment with a capacity of 110,000 pieces per annum. Leather garments considered in this profile are Jackets and Coats, although Trousers and Over-Coats can be manufactured as the market allows. The major raw material is finished leather with required colors which can be obtained locally. The products are highly demanded by the middle and higher income of the population. Moreover, the quality leather garments have a good export potential. The present demand for the proposed products is estimated at 116,297 pieces per annum. The demand is expected to reach at 215,297 pieces by the year 2025. The total investment requirement is estimated at USD 3 million, out of which USD 290 thousand is required for plant and machinery. The plant will create employment opportunities for 100 persons
