Description

The Eiger Express Pipeline is a 450-mile, 42-inch diameter natural gas pipeline designed to transport up to 2.5 billion cubic feet per day from the Permian Basin in West Texas to the Katy area, serving the U.S. Gulf Coast LNG market. Developed through Enbridge's Matterhorn joint venture, the project complements existing assets and is backed by long-term contracts with investment grade counterparties. Completion is anticipated in 2028, after which Enbridge expects to hold a significant equity interest in up to 10 Bcf/d of long-haul Permian Basin egress pipeline capacity.
