Eiram Stormwater Management Pond Retrofit and Rehabilitation

The project will rehabilitate and retrofit the Eiram stormwater pond in Clarington, Ontario. The scope of work includes: - construction of permanent pool forebay (>1 m deep) - access road improvements including tree clearing and pruning - rehabilitation of storm sewer inlet and outlet control structure - replacement of stone jacket around extended detention control device - removal of approximately 60 m3 of sediment accumulation The project will improve the level of stormwater treatment and water quality controls, reduce the likelihood of structural failure leading to downstream flooding, restore the original design functionality of the stormwater management facility, and extend the service life of the asset.
