Description | A new ferroalloy production plant named EkibastuzFerroAlloys has officially started operations in Ekibastuz, Pavlodar region, Kazakhstan. The plant produces 240,000 tons of high-quality ferrosilicon per year, with a localization rate of 96%, and exports products to 52 countries worldwide. The plant emphasizes environmental performance with 99.8% gas cleaning efficiency and processes captured dust into microsilica for export. It created about 800 permanent jobs and was constructed with approximately 1,500 specialists involved. The plant is located next to the Ekibastuz GRES-1 thermal power plant, ensuring stable electricity and raw material supply. The project is part of the Ekibastuz Development Plan until 2025. |
