The project involves the design, construction, and long-term operation of the El Arenal Prison, a high-capacity penitentiary facility located approximately 40 km from the city of Copiapó in Chile’s Atacama Region. With a projected built area of over 76,000 square meters, the prison will house approximately 2,160 inmates across 15 modules and include spaces for education, vocational training, healthcare, administration, and rehabilitation.
