Description | The El Quemado solar park is the largest photovoltaic project in Argentina, developed by YPF Luz. It is located in the department of Las Heras, Mendoza, and has an initial operational capacity of 100 MW with a total projected capacity of 305 MW upon completion. The project required an investment of approximately US$210 million and is expected to be fully commissioned in the first half of 2026. The park supplies renewable energy to the national power grid and will generate energy equivalent to the consumption of more than 233,000 Argentine households. |
