Description | The project entails the construction of a 40 MW solar plant in Plateau area, close to Eldoret City in the North-Western part of Kenya. Sponsors of the project are Frontier Capital Management, two of his subsidiaries ( Selenkei Investment and Cedate), Interpro International and Paramount Bank. They provide $ 24.6 million in equity. Debt of $ 51 million is split between FMO and EIB. PPA has a term of 20 years. The plant is expected to decrease the amount of CO2 emissions by 53,000 tCOeq/annum.
