Electrification of the operations center of the Société de transport de Sherbrooke

The project consists of preparing the main building of the operations center of the Société de transport de Sherbrooke to be able to accommodate the electrical installations necessary for the arrival of 100% electric buses, as well as modernizing and expanding the current installations according to operational needs. Phase A will result in an operational asset to accommodate the electrical installations necessary for the arrival of the 100% buses”. It will also enable the charging of the first order for 10 electric buses. The project includes: - Extension of the building to accommodate the technical rooms including the civil works for the construction of the foundations - the development of a new electrical entrance - The installation of 10 Combo socket charging slots in the current shed; - The landscaping (spaces for new electrical equipment, parking and pedestrian access surrounding the new premises. - There could also be the realization of related works. The project will improve the capacity of public transport infrastructure by supporting the transition to a fleet of 100% electric vehicles.
