Description | The project will implement phase 2 of the electrification of the Société de transport Trois-Rivières (STTR) service center. More specifically, the project aims to continue the construction, reorganization and redevelopment of current and future service areas of the STTR service center in order to be able to support the electrification of the vehicle fleet. in its entirety. Phase 2 of the service center electrification will include the following: expansion of the existing garage to have eighteen (18) electric bus parking spaces and eleven (11) electric chargers; adaptation of the current premises in order to support the electrification of the STTR at all levels; development of charging stations for the different bus models related to paratransit; Construction of a new 4000A Hydro-Québec electrical input used to recharge electric buses; Construction of a new electrical room and a charger room; Expansion of the supply center (store) on two floors in order to store new parts of materials and equipment for electric buses; Adaptation, modernization and expansion of the goods reception area; Installation of fire protection, detection and associated extinguishing systems; Landscaping work (grassed areas and parking lots). The project will improve the capacity, quality and safety of public transit infrastructure through the addition of maintenance and storage facilities, charging stations and security upgrades. |
