Elgin St. Water and Sanitary Main Replacement - Phase II

Replacement of Elgin Street water and sanitary sewer mains from Victoria Avenue to Angeline Street, including: replacement of approximately 880m of 225mm clay pipe sewer main with 200mm Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipe; replacement of approximately 880m of 150mm and 200mm cast iron watermain with PVC pipe; and replacement of services to approximately 68 residences. This project will be done in conjunction with road reconstruction. The project will ensure improved chlorine residuals in the distribution system servicing this area, and reduce extraneous flows into the existing sanitary sewer system.
