Objectives - Improve effectiveness of the application of the EU legislation regarding judiciary resolutions to be entered in national Land Registers (LR) - Strengthen ELRN cooperation between judges, the study of CJEU decisions to offer the use of LR as instrument of judicial cooperation - Improve knowledge of EU instruments: training activities and Fact Sheets (FS) - Stay informed on the legal value of the LR information - Assist the EC in relation with LR Interconnection project (LRI) - Strengthen cooperation with European Judicial Network (EJN), other legal networks and academics - Participate in exchange information with other EU associations: ELI, PCC, EuroGeographics, UNECE-WPLA, CNUE and CEHJ, EMF,etc Activities - Internal meetings ELRA/ELRN Board to design, deliver training and evaluate quality of outputs - 2 General Assemblies - 2 workshops to study better practices to register judiciary resolutions, practical implementation of EU Regulation - Participation in EC experts’ groups, EJN, conferences to spread the value of LR in EU - Answering EU public consultations - Common Vision Conference membership Target group - Legal officers from 28 EU Land register associations - Judicial authorities, legal practitioners, academics and citizens Results - To increase the capacity of LRs/judicial authorities to accept the registration of judiciary resolutions from another MS - To ensure the correct implementation of EU acquis - To improve mutual trust between judges and registrars - To enhance ELRN as an open platform for exchange of information - To facilitate access to LRs Deliverables - FS on implementation of Successions and Brussels I Regulations - A description of EU systems allowing spouses/registered partners to publish their matrimonial/partnership economic regime - A list of comparative judicial measures in LR about immovable assets - Updating FSs and launch a standard form of cooperation request - Practical assessment for EU LRI projects
