ELRA is made up of 31 Land Registry organizations from 27 EU countries Objectives - Promote judicial cooperation in civil matters (e.g. family law, succession, insolvency, protection of adults) - Support access to justice through e-Justice, digital tools, and AI in land registration - Strengthen networks among legal, judicial, and administrative authorities - Uphold the rule of law by fostering knowledge exchange on judicial systems and guarantees - Facilitate cross-border property transactions and recognition of foreign legal documents Expected Results - Harmonised frameworks for cross-border property rights - Improved quality and interoperability of land registry data - Enhanced implementation of EU instruments (e.g. European Certificate of Succession, protection of vulnerable adults) - Use of AI and digital tools in line with EU rights and data protection - Best practices on videoconferencing and digital justice tools General Activities - Board of Directors meetings for general management - Annual General Assembly - Three ELRN workshops as the main training activity - ELRN Exchange Program -AI Working Group - Participation in European legal networks (EJN, ELI, PCC, EuroGeographics, EBRA, etc.) - Collaboration with the EC on legal frameworks for succession, vulnerable adults, and land registry interconnection - Participation in international forums like IPRA-CINDER, IBEROREG, World Bank and UN-WPLA initiatives - Dissemination of information about our members and the association's activities Beneficiaries - Legal officers from EU Land Registry associations - Judicial authorities, legal practitioners (notaries, lawyers, judges) - University professors with expertise in civil cooperation - Citizens needing land registry information Deliverables - Recommendations on EU land registry legislation - Guidelines on AI and videoconferencing - Reports ELRN CPs exchanges - Updated Fact Sheets and and website content - Agendas & minutes - Bi-monthly and annual newsletter
