Objectives - Improve effectiveness of the application of the EU legislation in the national land registries, including automatic recognition by the registrar of those decisions covered by the regulations which might be relevant in another Member State land registry - Strengthen cooperation with judges among the study of the obstacles to implement in the LR the judicial decisions issued in another MS, in the area of provisional and protective measures - Improve knowledge of EU instruments and training to land registry lawyers and registrars - Ongoing information on the value of the LR - Permanent assistance to the EC in relation with LR Interconnection project (LRI) - Strengthen cooperation with the European Judicial Network (EJN) - To increase the ELRA participation in other research projects promoted by ELI, ERA and the Common Vision Group Expected results - To increase the capacity of LR’s authority to accept the registration of judiciary resolutions from another MS - To make recommendations to achieve the EU legislative implementation in the LRs - To improve mutual trust between judges and registrars - To facilitate the access of the LR to the public authorities and EU citizens Activities - Internal meetings ELRA Board, general manager body - Holding of a conference and the general assembly of ELRA - 3 ELRN workshops to study best practices to register judiciary resolutions and practical implementation of EU acquis - Participate in exchange information with: PCC, EuroGeographics, FIG and CNUE - Increase collaboration in international forums Beneficiaries: - Legal officers from 28 EU land register associations - Judicial authorities, legal practitioners, academics and citizens Deliverables: - Recommendations related to the EU legislation including requirements for registration of judiciary resolutions in LR - Ongoing update the Reference Information published - A technological solution to facilitate the interoperability of the FS
