ELRA is made up by 29 Land Registries organizations of 25 EU countries. Objectives - To increase the knowledge of the ELRA members on European legislation to facilitate the implementation in the land registries. - To facilitate a single market guaranteeing the free movement of persons, documents, and establishment in the EU - To enhancing networking among legal practitioners. - To improve the dissemination of the ELRA’s studies and projects Expected results - Improvement of movement of documents related to transactions on immoveable properties - To enhance the implementation of national measures to protect rights for adults - To assist in making effective the registration of the European Certificate of Succession. - To enhance the quality of data and metadata of the Land Registry information General activities - Board of Directors meetings - Annual General Assembly - 3 ELRN workshops as main training activity - Membership at EJN and ELI as an institutional fellow member - Cooperation with other European stakeholders such as PCC, EuroGeographics, CNUE, WPLA (United Nations) - Assistance to EC in relation to LR Interconnection project (LRI) - Continue working on the EU ADAPT project - Participation in international forums as IPRA-CINDER Beneficiaries - Legal officers from EU Land Registry associations - Judicial authorities, legal practitioners (notaries, lawyers, bailiffs, and judges) - University professors with expertise in civil cooperation - Citizens who need the land registry information for actions Deliverables - Study on requirements for the registration of the ECS in a future European Registry - Comparative study on national voluntary measures to protect vulnerable adults - Comparative study on the acceptance of a specific foreign deed of an immovable property - Study on proposed EU law on Artificial Intelligence in the LR systems - New Fact Sheet in Insolvency procedures - Annual Newsletter
