Description | The scope of the project contemplates the development of Elwak-Rhamu road. The project will be delivered following a public-private partnership under the Kenya government’s roads annuity program. The project is located in Mandera County and starts from Elwak town navigating through a North Easterly direction and terminates at Rhamu town a total length of approximately 135 kilometers. The project has been divided into three (3) lots for ease of implementation. Lot 1: El wak – Wargadud will cover a distance of 41 kilometers. This section is estimated to take a period of eighteen (18) months and set for completion by 13th of September 2017. Lot 2: Wargadud – Bambo covers a distance of 41 kilometers. This section is estimated to take a period of eighteen (18) months and set for completion by 20th of September, 2017. Lot 3: Bambo – Rhamu covers a distance of 53 kilometers. This section is estimated to take a period of eighteen (18) months and set for completion by 20th of July 2017 |
