The bridge was damaged nearly a year ago when a semi-tractor trailer carrying a track hoe struck it, causing significant damage to several beams. The Ohio Department of Transportation is closing I-75 Northbound between Needmore Road and Benchwood/Wyse Road overnight to safely remove and replace the damaged beams. The project started after a year of planning, funding application, and design consultation. The work is expected to be completed by Fall 2025, with about eight overnight closures planned in September. |
