Description | Aim and funding approach This sector program is intended to support the three Chinese provinces of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei (BTH) in developing a comprehensive approach to air pollution control and emission reduction. Partner structure The borrower is the People's Republic of China, represented by the Ministry of Finance. The project implementing unit is the Development and Reform Commissions at provincial level and the relevant ministries for the sectors named in the policy matrix. Costs and financing ADB intends to commit a loan of USD 300 million for the first phase with a commitment in Q1/2015. KfW is participating in this with an FC promotional loan with GWR of EUR 150 million. |
