EMMA AND THE THREE MUSKETEERS

The objectives of answering to this European Co-Development call of Creative Media is to help us to finalize the development of our animation feature film – EMMA AND THE THREE MUSKETEERS – directed by Paul & Gaëtan Brizzi and co-directed by Jan Schmicker, in order to secure the first international presales made through our sales agent GFM Animation and finalize the financing plan of the film before going into production. The team will work on the following activities : finalize a new version of the script, finalize a 2D characters and backgrounds bible with the Brizzi brothers, work with a new CGI character designers’ team on the adaptation of some of the main characters into CGI 3D, work with a new production design team, supervised by Anthony Christov, on some CGI 3D adaptations of environments, produce a new 1-2 mn pilot, a pitchvis-trailer, edited from different short sequences extracted from the storyboard of the film, showing different emblematic moments of the movie and emphasizing on the type of film we want to produce : fantasy, action and adventure, drama and emotion, humor and comedy…. The Creative Media call should benefit to 5 European producers involved in the co-development (small and big countries). It will be supervised and coordinated by Paul-Boris Lobadowsky, French beneficiary producer, in relation with Eric Goossens, Belgium lead producer. It will imply an international team of talents and artists coming from all over Europe (small and big countries) who will co-work together: script writers and adaptors (6), designers & directors (3), environment designers (3), character designers (4), storyboarders (8), editors (3) and consultants (5). The expected results are to provide to our sales agent GFM and to our financial partners, key elements to decide. The outputs will be a 2D bible of characters and backgrounds, a new script, CGI characters boards, CGI environments mood boards, a 1-2 min pitchvis and a breakdown/ budget of the film.
