McCarthy constructed a 450,000-square-foot, nine-story, 230-bed replacement hospital in the heart of Emory University's campus. The hospital features patient care units for cancer and transplant, diagnostic and treatment spaces, ICU rooms, general medicine and surgery rooms, and operating rooms. The project also included a two-level pedestrian bridge, a 530-space underground parking structure, utility relocation work, and a renovation of an existing lobby at Clinic A. The project is LEED Silver certified.
