Striving for a Union of Equality means a Union where all women and men, girls and boys in all their diversity - are equal. The world of women’s sports is undergoing a game-changing transformation, capturing unprecedented attention and recognition. The Paris Olympics were the most gender-equal in history. This milestone is a testament to the relentless efforts and remarkable achievements of women athletes who are breaking records, shattering stereotypes, and inspiring future generations. Despite this progress, significant disparities remain in women's sports. Alliance of Amateur Basketball Referees (AoABR) from Serbia, together with its partners Hate Fighters Network (HFN) from Serbia, Barcel’hona Sports Events (BSE) from Spain and JuvenTagus – Associação Desportiva e Juvenil from Portugal would like to implement project “Empowered female referees in sport” in order to address issues of gender inequality in sport and specifically in officiating in sports. Main aim: To create network of female referees in sport. Specific objectives: - To develop new tools and methods to empower female referees - To promote equal participation in sport - To encourage dual carriers among female athletes
