Description

Description

The garagErasmus Foundation ( the official alumni community of the Erasmus+ programme) proposes a two-year strategic plan to position the “Erasmus Generation” as a key contributor to inclusion, participation, and skills development in Europe. The action is structured around three core pillars: GE4Skills, to enhance the recognition of competences gained through non-formal and informal learning; GE4Policy, to support structured dialogue and the implementation of the European Education Area; and GE4Inclusion, to promote fair mobility opportunities and empower young people with fewer opportunities. Building on tested formats such as the Learning Garages, piloting tools for micro-credentialing, and activating a dynamic network of Erasmus+ alumni and youth workers, garagErasmus will foster the transition “from mobility to employability”, contribute to the green and digital transitions, and strengthen the visibility of youth work at European level. The plan aligns with Erasmus+ priorities, the European Pillar of Social Rights, and the EU Competitiveness Compass, contributing to the development of transversal skills, civic values, and social cohesion. With strong visibility, stakeholder outreach, and policy influence, garagErasmus strengthens the role of civil society in shaping inclusive and forward-looking European education and youth policies.
