Empowerment of victims of gender-based violence through vocational integration

ended

This project aims to support survivors of gender-based violence in the context of commercial sex through exiting support and integration into the labour market. In addition to strengthening women awareness of gender equality and their rights as victims of violence through practical psycho-social support and exit assistance, the project aims to sensitize the European population on the needs of victims of gender-based violence in the context of commercial sex through regional stakeholder engagement including the public sector, civil society, and the business sector. The applicants represented in this project will act as an interface between the sectors to pool together available resources in support of the women of gender-based violence as well as provide direct support in exiting prostitution and entering the official labour market.
