"The Town of Holyrood is a small rural community located on the Avalon Peninsula in the province of Newfoundland. We are a growing town with a new focus on economic development through the Ocean Sector. Led by the Municipality of Holyrood, steered by a mufti-disciplinary Advisory Board of ocean technology and economic development experts, and fueled by an ever-growing Marine Institute presence, our VISION is to become a diversified, self-sustaining “Community of Practice” in oceans-related research, education, training and business development. Our town is focused on providing safe reliable services to residents. Our initiatives are organized the whole person, and we use five main pillars to guide decision making. We want Holyrood to be a great place to live, learn, work, play and invest. We provide opportunities to live a healthy active inclusive life in a safe environment. "
