Enabling Digital Governance Project (EDGE) in Serbia

under implementation

The EDGE project in Serbia is a World Bank-supported initiative aimed at strengthening citizen trust in digital government through a multi-layered data security training program and the establishment of secure national infrastructure. The project includes training over 4,000 public servants on data protection and cybersecurity, extending training to local authorities and frontline workers, and developing an AI governance framework aligned with European standards. It also involves investments in national infrastructure such as a Network Operations Center, Security Operations Center, and a Computer Emergency Response Team.
