Description | A project by Enbridge and Energy Transfer to reverse flows on Enbridge's Bakken Pipeline to move Canadian crude oil southbound through the Bakken region. The project includes constructing a new 24-inch pipeline segment connecting the Bakken system to Energy Transfer's Ramberg Terminal, enabling direct access to the Dakota Access Pipeline. The existing 12-inch line segment from Steelman Station to just south of the US-Canada border will be decommissioned, and the remaining segment to Berthold Terminal abandoned. The new pipeline will span approximately 80 miles, with 60 miles in North Dakota, primarily transporting conventional light crude. |
