"In order to effectively contribute to promoting growth and strengthening competitiveness and sustainability of enterprises in the European Union on the long term, ENCOSI ""ENCOurage entrepreneurship and Social Innovation"" will address the five challenges set out in the COSME Work programme, with a strong emphasis on intensifying the sustainable internationalization of SME’s. Then ENCOSI will develop specfic objectives: • Create a better mutual knowledge between social, innovative and other entrepreneurs and facilitate the development of common projects/businesses • Ensure a positive and efficient working environment between the partners to facilitate common projects and new businesses • Ensure the wide promotion of EYE and raise the attractiveness of the European Single Market • Disseminate good practices and new models of cooperation • Promote exchanges and cooperation on European social innovation The overall concept of ENCOSI project is to encourage, develop and support entrepreneurship initiatives by creating links and exchanges between the different forms of economy and innovation, and particularly offering new perspectives for entrepreneurs through innovative economic models and social innovation. The challenge of ENCOSI is to show that there is not only one way to create a company, to support entrepreneurs, to innovate and that each way can improve the other ways. ENCOSI will focus on innovative projects, in order to create “bridges” between social and other forms of innovation and to allow NEs and HEs to develop new business perspectives through social innovation. Expected results: trainings, database, common tool, info days and meetings, business opportunities, study on entrepreneurship and social innovation, feedback questionnaire The goal of ENCOSI is to include at least 140 entrepreneurs in a success exchange."
