Encouraging Young Entrepreneurs in Building New Businesses

The goal of the EYE-BNB project is to enhance and promote entrepreneurship in EU and thus to increase the competitiveness of European SMEs and potential start-ups by establishing exchange of experience between new and experienced entrepreneurs, access to new markets, finding potential business partners and business networking. The duration of the mobility action will be from one to six months. In general, the project should reach at least 60 mobility actions involving directly 120 entrepreneurs during the project implementation. The specific objectives of the project are in line with the ones set by the EYE programme. The EYE-BNB project will: - Establish a European partner network to help young entrepreneurs or would-be entrepreneurs enrich their knowledge and experience through mobility learning and networking experience; - Provide on-the-job-training to 60 new entrepreneurs in SMEs in other EU countries, in order to facilitate a successful start and development of their business ideas; - Foster exchange of experience and information between entrepreneurs on obstacles and challenges faced, when startingup and developing their businesses; - Enhance further market access to and identification of potential partners for the new and host entrepreneurs beyond the duration of the project; - Establish a programme for assisting the applicants (NEs/ HEs) in the process of documents submission and matching; - Support networking by building on knowledge and experience from other European countries; - Enhance the international activities and innovation potential; - Enlarge the knowledge and the markets through internationalization; - Raise awareness through dissemination activities focusing on the opportunities arising from the mobility across the EU member states; - Enhance women participation in the programme. The EYE-BNB consortium combines partners from six European countries (Portugal,Bulgaria,Italy,Spain,the United Kingdom and Greece) with high entrepreneurial potential.
