Enderby Outdoor Pool

The project will increase access to recreation by constructing a new pool in Enderby. The new pool will replace the existing pool that was constructed in 1954 and has been used beyond its normal lifespan. The pool is a vital hub of the community, with users across generations, backgrounds, and needs, who rely upon it for their physical fitness and social interactions. The project works will include: - site preparation; - construction of an approx. 390 m2 building including lifeguard room, universal change rooms, mechanical and storage; - construction of an approx. 5-lane lap pool; - construction of an approx. 258 m2 leisure pool including a zero-entry (beach) access, hydro-therapeutic lazy river and bubbler bench, and parent-and-tot area; - installation of a hot tub; - construction of a pool deck; - installation of a perimeter fence/gate; - connection to a zero-emission high-efficiency biomass district heating system for the building and pool; - surrounding site restoration; and, - all related works.
