Description | Ener G Africa has commissioned a R135 million solar panel assembly facility in Paarl, South Africa. The plant is currently operating on a single shift with around 30 employees and is ramping up production to meet market demand. It has a nameplate capacity of up to 150 MW annually under full three-shift operation. The facility assembles 550 W monocrystalline PERC modules and can produce smaller formats and higher wattage panels exceeding 600 W using bifacial configurations. It is also capable of supporting advanced TOPCon cell technology with minor machinery adjustments. The company designs panels in-house and sources specialized components internationally, assembling them locally under controlled processes with international certification. |
