The Aura Solar II project (the “Project” or the “Company”) entails the development of a photovoltaic solar plant with capacity of 61MWdc/50MWac by the Sponsors. The plant is in stage of design and is expected to begin construction in Q4 2014. It will be sited in the Choluteca Municipality near the El Carrizo community, which is approximately located 152 km south of the capital city of Tegucigalpa. Aura Solar II is expected to generate approximately 125 GWh per annum. The Project will be located over an area of 150 hectares of modified habitat and agricultural pasture land. The Project will be interconnected to Santa Lucia - an existing substation located in the outskirts of Choluteca - via dedicated 34.5 kV single pole transmission lines with a length of 11 km, along an existing road. Given the peri-urban siting of the Santa Lucia substation, the last 50 meters of the transmission line will be buried. The equipment for the Project will consist of proven ground mounted photovoltaic crystalline modules, and integrated inverter and transformation centers. Construction is expected to be completed by Q2 2015.
