Energy Efficiency Improvement of the C.V. Leclerc Sports Palace in Saint-Léonard, New Brunswick

The objective of this project is to improve energy efficiency and upgrade the treatment systems at the Palais des Sports CV Leclerc in Saint-Léonard, NB. We propose the following solutions: - Installation of a low-emissivity roof system covering the entire roof to eliminate or reduce heat emissions on the ice; - Installation of a water treatment system for ice production, as the hardness of the municipal water puts additional strain on the refrigeration system; - Refurbishment of the refrigeration system and condenser, both of which are very old and therefore at high risk of failure; - Installation of solar panels on the exterior roof of the Palais des Sports to produce renewable energy within the infrastructure.
