Description

Description

Belgrade-based Niras RS, part of Danish engineering solutions group Niras, will advise Montenegro on a 24 million euro project for implementing energy efficiency measures at public educational buildings across the country. The project aims to enhance energy performance in 24 public educational buildings across 10 cities in Montenegro, improving thermal comfort, health, and well-being for over 19,000 users by upgrading heating, cooling, ventilation systems, and thermal insulation at 18 elementary schools, three secondary schools, two kindergartens, and one higher education school. The project is expected to enable energy savings estimated at 22,319 MWh per year, or 53% compared to the baseline, and total greenhouse gas savings are estimated at 4,273 tCO2 per year, or 52%.
