As part of the project, the Guerra 345 kV/138 kV substation is to be built east of the capital city of Santo Domingo. The investment measure is part of the national investment program to expand the 345 kV line network with connected 138 kV lines, which includes a total of four investment measures. The construction of the Guerra substation is intended to reduce transmission losses in the Dominican power grid and increase grid stability. The aim of the project is to improve the quantitative and qualitative power supply in the Dominican Republic. The overarching development policy goal of the FC measure is to strengthen the country's sustainable economic development and to make a contribution to climate protection. The target group is the entire population of the Dominican Republic.
