Energy-Efficient Social Housing Project in Ingolstadt

A new three-storey apartment building with 15 units is being built in Ingolstadt, Germany, designed to be energy-efficient without a conventional heating system. The building uses thick brick walls with wood filling and a wooden facade to store heat naturally. It employs sensors to regulate temperature and ventilation automatically, uses solar panels for electricity, and has on-demand hot water heaters. It is a social housing project inspired by a similar building in Lustenau, Austria.
