The general objective of this IGR is to support the Program JA-L1056 and to promote a more efficient use of energy resources that would free public funds through lower government bills and reduced oil imports, helping the GOJ to further reduce debt and create the fiscal space for productive spendings, also contributing to GHG emissions reduction.Particularly, this IGR will support the specific objective of reducing electricity consumption within government facilities by financing the auditing and implementation of deep energy retrofits in 7 hospitals as well as related environmental issues and training. The IGR will also support the provision of specific expertise for the PEU.
