Description | Enerjisa Enerji A.S. (“Enerjisa” or the “Company”) operates as Türkiye’s leading company in electricity distribution, retail sales and customer solutions. Reaching a population of 22.1 million with more than 11 thousand employees, the Company serves 10.6 million customers within 14 provinces across 3 distribution regions. The Company also provides energy efficiency and renewable electricity generation solutions via its Customer Solutions subsidiary; and electric vehicle (“EV”) charging solutions via its subsidiary, E-Sarj. The Company is implementing a capital expenditure plan entailing (i) distribution network modernization for its distribution subsidiaries for the fourth implementation period, (ii) reconstruction of earthquake affected network of Toroslar EDA?, and (iii) expansion of EV charging network of E-Sarj (the “Project”). IFC’s support entails (i) an IFC A loan of US$150 million denominated in TRY, and (ii) US$10 million loan equivalent exposure for interest rate swaps for IFC A loan. The proposed IFC investment will partially finance the distribution related capital expenditure of the Project and will mark the first sustainability linked loan (“SLL”) of the Company. |
