Enersan Solar PV Plant is a 10mw facility run by Enersan Power Private Limited. The project is located in Village Shivlakha, Kutch District, Gujarat, India. Enersan Power Private Limited is wholly owned by Backbone Enterprises Limited (100%). The contract for the facility was achieved through a competitive bid process with the Solar Energy Corporation of India, the Gujarat Energy Development Agency, and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy through the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) Phase-II, Batch I. A PPA was signed in March, 2015 in accordance with the JNNSM Phase-II, Batch I with the Solar Energy Corporation of India. Enersan Solar PV Plant reached financial closure in February, 2015. Of the projected $12.15m USD costs for the project, $3.65m USD is financed through equity and $8.51m USD is debt financed. The equity is provided by Backbone Enterprises Limited ($3.65m USD). Debt is financed by the Export-Import Bank of India ($4.26m USD) and the Oriental Bank of Commerce ($4.26m USD). Enersan Solar PV Plant is expected to come online by the end of 2015.
