Description
Description | Specific objectives will be reached at the end of the period: 1) increased culture and understanding of young people on the role of human dignity, human rights, inclusion and diversity in all the aspects of life and on its application and impact at policy, social and economic level; 2) improved democratic participation of young people in the decision-making process and debates with public authorities at EU, national and local level; 3) increased empowerment of young people in society by making them more confident in topics connected to human dignity and human rights, as fundamental elements of the European citizenship 4) creation of a network of stakeholders at transnational level and active in the promotion of human rights, diversity and human dignity, etc. The work programme is composed of a series of activities, some running during the whole year and others being designed as specific events. The typology of activities includes statutory events (such as the General Assembly), communication, advocacy towards decision-makers (Members of the European Parliament and of national parliaments), workshops, media and communication activities, debates, trainings, workshops and grassroots campaigns. Most of the activities are focused on the core topic of WYAE (human dignity, human rights, social inclusion, etc.) and mainstreaming EU youth policies, most notably the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027. The main expected impact of the work programme is the personal and educational growth of young people through their participation to our activities. 2022 activities are expected to reach out to 57.000 young people in Europe. Through the reinforcement of the cooperation between our members we also expect to reach a permanent impact in terms of increased number of EU and international projects presented as a network. The two policy papers we will produce have the purpsee to inform the decision-makers and impact policies relevant to the youth. |
