The “Engaged, Connected & Empowered: All Voices Included for a YouthShapingEurope in 2025” project aims to address these gaps by continuing the momentum of the 2024 elections and encouraging deeper youth involvement across Europe. This initiative seeks to foster collaboration between youth organizations, EU policymakers, and other stakeholders, with a special focus on underrepresented groups. The European Youth Event 2025 will serve as a platform to strengthen youth participation and ensure their voices are heard in EU policy discussions. The 2025 work plan focuses on three main objectives: 1. Engage young people across Europe by fostering inclusive participation. 2. Connect young people and youth organizations across Europe by enhancing their understanding of democratic processes and building their capacity for active citizenship. 3. Empower young people by encouraging proactive engagement through peer learning and direct involvement in shaping EU policies. Within this context, the 2025 work plan aligns with the objectives of this call, which prioritises inclusivity and youth empowerment, particularly for disadvantaged groups. The plan aims to connect, engage, and empower all stakeholders involved in the democratic process, with a specific focus on youth from traditionally marginalised communities. To achieve these objectives, 21 activities (19 STANDARD & 2 AD HOC) are scheduled across 3 pillars of work oriented to empower, connect&engage European youth, and a transversal pillar on inclusive communication&dissemination oriented to ensure that nobody is left behind. These activities will result in the production of 2 main deliverables (1 public and 1 sensitive) designed to measure outcomes and assess the project's long-term impact. The activities are expected to directly engage 2,967 young people, with at least 50% coming from disadvantaged backgrounds such as NEETs, migrants, and youth from marginalised communities.
