Description
Description | The workplan developed by EEE-YFU supports the objectives outlined in the Call by focusing on 3 main areas of work: Youth Work & Youth Worker Capacity Building activities; Advocacy & Partnership activities; and Intercultural Education Activities. Firstly, EEE-YFU will conduct Youth Work & Youth Worker Capacity Building activities, including trainings, exchanges and development of best practices, tools creation and dissemination. At the organisational level these actions contribute to the development of youth work structures, quality, and sustainability, and thus support the youth goal Quality Learning; at the individual level they contribute directly to the development of young people, especially through NFE. These actions target individuals and organisations, include a diversity of approaches, are sustainable beyond the scope of this workplan, and address multipliers to increase each action’s impact. Secondly, EEE-YFU will continue to offer and develop targeted intercultural education activities in line with the objectives of the EU. Large-scale events like the YES, the long-term pupil mobility programmes YFU MOs organize, updated educational resources for our orientations, as well as activities on the UN SDGs will foster a stronger participation of young people in democratic and civic life in Europe, intercultural learning, critical thinking and respect, and appreciation of diversity. Thirdly, EEE-YFU will work in the area of Advocacy & Partnerships, focusing on the empowerment of young people to contribute to EU policy through consultations and events, a volunteer representation network, evidence gathering and information dissemination on relevant EU policies through our diverse channels, thereby increasing awareness of the EU Youth Strategy and several of its main priorities. And EEE-YFU will make the voice of young people heard through the Youth Dialogue and different campaigns, thus applying both a top-down and bottom-up approach to dissemination. |
