Description
Description | The project will expand the drinking water supply and storage capacity in Englehart, Ontario. The work involves drilling an additional well, rehabilitating two existing wells, installing a new standpipe (water tower) and upgrading well control systems, which includes adding variable drives to well pump controls and rehabilitating mechanical, electrical and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. The project will improve drinking water service and reliability as the increased supply and redundancy will reduce the need for shutdowns because of low water levels. |
