Enhancing Accessibility and Safety at The Mount Community Centre

The project consists of rehabilitating the existing structure of The Mount Community Centre in Peterborough, Ontario. The work includes accessibility improvement performed inside and outside the facility. The interior work includes the installation of an elevator and an upgrade to existing washrooms to make them accessible for people with disabilities. The exterior work includes replacing existing sanitary lines system, create a storm water management facility on the property and adding parking spaces. The project will enable The Mount Community Centre to improve access to its services for people living in Peterborough area, including users with disabilities.
